Process Development Engineer - Photolithography


Job Responsibilities:

  1. His/her main responsibilities are on supervise/support Wafer Fab manufacturing areas, working in clean room environment. Main focus will be on photolithography, supporting Stepper and track processes, including introduction and qualification of new reticles and recipes

  2. As Process Engineer is responsible to develop new industrial processes and maintain/improve existing ones, collaborate and provide technical advice to R&D and manufacturing teams to guarantee product quality, product cost and manufacturing efficiency

  3. Other working areas can extend to support development of thin film vacuum deposition processes, dry and plasma etching

  4. Investigate and perform troubleshooting analysis on possible process/product problems

  5. Liaise with installation/maintenance team and specialists for equipment upgrade and calibration

  6. Work with EHS representative to ensure safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety legislation

  7. Setup Statistical Process Control approach to improve yield and rework rate

  8. Introduce technological innovation in order to increase yield, to reduce process lead time

  9. Is responsible of process documentation, work instruction necessary for transfer new process to manufacturing. Control new product introduction from design into manufacturing

  10. Perform manufacturing operators' training


Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or a Master's degree in an Engineering discipline (Electronic, Material), Physics or Chemistry

  2. Experience in wafer fab processes and manufacturing (nanotechnologies or semiconductor industry)

  3. Hands-on experience with Overlay and CDSEM metrology preferred

  4. Knowledge of plasma etching techniques is a plus

  5. Experience in Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) is a plus

  6. Experience in Chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) is a plus

  7. Good attitude to team working and proactively interact with all function and levels

  8. Fluent English (spoken and written)

  9. Availability to travel

  10. Knowledge of process validation procedures and techniques, e.g. process and product FMEA, basic six sigma concepts like capability studies and SPC is a plus

  11. Competent with Microsoft Office applications and statistical tools (LabView knowledge is a plus)
